William Earl “Troy” Wilson was born to the parentage of Marvin Black and Enda Wilson on October 06, 1960, in Terrell Texas. William was Preceded in death, by his Mom Enda Wilson, Dad Marvin Black, and two brothers, Leonard “Lenny” Wilson, and Cedric Wilson. William attended Terrell High School, where he graduated in 1980. He started working for Terrell State Hospital in 1979.

He went on to work for TMI, where he was employed for 15 years. William attended Textile Maintenance School, where he received his Certification as a Textile Specialist, in 2000. William then began his own business (Quality Services) in 2001, where he was working until he was called home. William accepted Christ at an early age at the Shiloh Baptist Church.

He went on to fellowship with Temple Missionary Baptist Church, William was ordained as Deacon at Covenant Baptist Church of Lancaster Tx, in 2001, where he went on to serve as Deacon, Church bus driver, Praise Team member, carpet cleaner, yard crew, and the decorating committee. He was currently a member of Mt. Hebron Victory Faith Center Church, where he served as an Assistant Superintendent, prayer warrior and teacher, a choir member, assistant maintenance, and anything else that needed to be done. He loved being the Biblical Content Reader during Sunday school.

He is survived by, Wife, Sherry Wilson, Step mom Tilley Black, son Keitron “Fred”Randall, three -daughters, Tina Mingo Urquhart ( Robert), Laniqua Wilson, Netavia “Cete” Wilson, four grand -children, Timothy White , Kavien Randall, Shalecia Truitt, Ariyonna Urquhart, two great -grandchildren, King and Kamryn White, three sisters, Ethel Livingston, Sandra Wilson, and Cora Edinbyrd (Romia), One brother, Joseph Wilson(Tammie), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, who loved him dearly and his church family

Sandra Rene Glaspie Perkins was born December 25, 1956, to the parentage of the late, Alfredrich and Rosa B. Glaspie. October 13, 2021, she earned her crown with daughters along her bedside. Sandra attended and graduated from Terrell High School in 1975, and then went straight into the workforce.

She was employed 26 years by Terrell State Hospital as a Psychiatric Nurse Assistant Supervisor from 1994 until she retired November 2020. Sandra has been a member of the Holy Temple Church her entire life. Growing up as a youth she accepted Christ in her life and was a faithful willing servant wherever she could help. She was a dedicated participant in the tambourine ministry.

Sandra is preceded in death by parents: Alfredrich & Rosa B. Glaspie. She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters: Yashica Perkins and Devin Perkins; two grandsons: Vincent and Quinnshard Wells; two granddaughters: Azariya and Zion Perkins; brothers: Ernest (Cheryl) Nickerson, Adolphus (Cheryl) Glaspie, Craig Fountain; sisters: Luella (Robert) Mays, Rosa (Arthur) Allen, Charlesa Glaspie; adopted brother: Stanley (Dorothy) Nickerson; adopted sisters: Janet Turner, Brenda Allen and special friend: Donald Freeney. Extended family of love: Charlotte Smith, Dedria Lewis, Blynthia Kennedy, Kathleen Harris, Vickie Denson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Maurice Antwayne Hill was born December 15, 1972 in Terrell, Texas, to the late Rev. Morgan & Georgia Hill II. He attended Terrell High School and graduated with the class of 1991. He graduated from Southwestern Christian College with his Associates Degree. He continued his education at Harding University graduating with his BA. He began his Teacher/Coaching career with Terrell ISD, Red Oak ISD, Mesquite ISD, Ennis ISD & current at Princeton ISD.
He accepted Christ and was baptized at the Union Valley BC, Terrell, Texas

He moved to Princeton, TX and united at the McKinney First Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Louis Rosenthall.

He was united in marriage in November 1996 to Tamika Hill, and to this union four children were born. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory; wife of 24 years, Tamika Hill, Sons Wesley Parker, Marcellus Hill, Jalaydon Hill, Daughters, Chloe Hill and Cara Hill., Siblings, Rev. Morgan (Monica) Hill III, Masio Hill, Mahogany Oliver (David) , Steven Lamkin, Mark Lampkin (Rolandus), brother -in-law, Wayne Leaks (Regina); uncles, Aunts, Nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. I can hear her praying for her children! As she prays, her voice gets louder as if she was Hannah in the book of 1 Samuel (1:10). You could hear the sincerity in her voice and could see the tears in her eyes. Ruby often talked to the Lord, but nothing like she did the morning of September, 17, 2021. She was ready and she made no qualms about it. She called out to Him and told Him she was ready. She knew the Lord and this was a conversation she had for weeks with her children. She spent time preparing them for this day. “Don’t mourn for me, she would say.” I will be ready when He calls. On Friday, September 17, she joined the Lord for her journey home. Perhaps, He said, you must rest for a while, as He told Daniel, but she was on a journey to the kingdom. She talked about seeing those who had already transitioned: her mother, Queen Victoria McQueen; and her father, Eph McQueen; her three brothers, Will, Ephraim, and Jim McQueen. She talked about her husband, Aaron Morrison, Sr. She especially talked about her son, Aaron Morrison, Jr., who had transitioned a week before her. Her heart ached to see him again. Ruby was the Matriarch of the family. She instilled religious values in each of her children; she taught honesty; she held up the family history and taught each of children to work hard. She would quote the scripture from 2 Thessalonians 3:10: “For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.” Ruby worked hard throughout her life. She was a nurse assistant at Florida A&M University Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. She took advantage of her exceptional skills as a business woman. She opened a restaurant and obtained a contract to feed the men building interstate I-10. The restaurant became popular in three counties. She closed the restaurant to spend more time with her children. She worked for the State of Florida in the “food and nutrition extension program”. Ruby loved to help people and she found many opportunities to teach and mentor others. Ruby leaves to mourn her transition: her daughter, Geraldine Kelly (James); her three sons, Rex Morrison (Gina) and Reginald Morrison and Roy Williams. She leaves four grandchildren: Yolanda Ervin; Regina Wilkins (Charles); Marlon Morrison and David Morrison. She leaves two great-grands: Olivia Wilkins and Charlie Wilkins. In her journey in life, she had a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. There were special friends that she loved and spent time with over the years. To each of you, she always acknowledged your special relationships with admiration. We thank each of you!

Michael Andre Hinchen was born to the parentage of Oscar and Glenda Hinchen in Terrell, TX. He graduated from Terrell High School in 1996.
He received his associates degree from Richland College with technical certification where he pursued a career as a technical support specialist. He worked for Frontier Communications for 15 years until his passing.
Michael married Sheria Holmes in 2016 and became a “cat dad” to Lux and Orion.

Michael accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Terrell, TX. He affirmed his faith before his passing knowing that he would be in the comforting arms of the Lord.
He thoroughly enjoyed going to the movies and was an avid comic books fan. He pursued this passion to the point of selling character figurines as a hobby. He spent many weekends with another favorite pastime of cheering on the University of Texas football team. Most of all, he loved spoiling his nephews with gifts and doing small-talk with them about the latest video game trends.
Michael transitioned to glory after a well-fought battle with illness and met his Lord and Savior on September 1, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Willie and Lela Hinchen, and Willie and Louise Davis as well as his aunts Doretta Cooper and Lela Hinchen, and uncle Michael Davis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Sheria Holmes of Dallas, Texas; his parents, Oscar and Glenda Hinchen of Terrell, Texas; his sister, Kendra Furlough and her husband Forrest of Forney, Texas; his cherished nephews Kamden and Kaeden Furlough; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends.

Mr. Pettis Newsome was born to the parentage of John and Julia Newsome on November 6, 1964, in Terrell, tx.

Pettis accepted Christ at an early age at the St. James AME church. Later he went on to fellowship with other churches. Pettis attended and graduated from Terrell HS in 1983. He then went on to attend Southwestern Christian College where he received his associate degree.

Pettis leaves to celebrate his homegoing, one sister, Shelia Newsome, two brothers, Deshler Newsome (Tina) and Herman Newsome (Tamika), Fiancée, Katina Thompson and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Ms. Mary Free born on November 23, 1976 in Kingsburg, California died August 12, 2021 in Mesquite, Texas. She leaves to cherish her memories, mother, Vickie Hughes and a host of other relatives and friends.

Druella Brooks Tolbert of Terrell, Texas, was born February 2, 1940 to the parentage of Pharisee and Clara Brooks in Kaufman County, Texas. She made her departure from earth to heaven peacefully on July 23, 2021 at Texas Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She was tenderly rendered care by the doctors and nurses in the Seasons Hospice Unit until her transition.

Druella attended schools in Kaufman County and also attended Burnett High School. She was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she accepted Christ in her early life. Druella joined the Union Valley Missionary Baptist Church after being united in marriage. She was a faithful member until having to render care for her husband and until afterwards when her health failed. Throughout her membership at Union Valley she sand in the choir for numerous years, served on the kitchen committee and the mission. She was the President of the Mission Society for many years.

Druella married Richard Lee Tolbert, Sr. on the 5th day of October in the year of 1957. To their union five children were born. She was a devoted wife and mother for more than 63 years. She was a loving sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, & mother in-law. She was also loved by many in the community.

Druella obtained a license in Cosmetology at an early age which carried her through a lifetime. She worked in several local beauty salons including Taylor’s Tonsorial the first female owned barber shop in Terrell, Jerry’s, and Barbara’ Beauty Salon. She was employed at Waylon’s Hair Fashions in Terrell for over 40 years until retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pharisee and Clara Brooks; one daughter, Cynthia Tolbert, one great-granddaughter, Jersey Kennedy, one grandson, Rashard Hornage, one brother, L.C. Brooks, and two sisters, Curley Baker and Ollie Johnson.

Druella’s leaves to cherish and honor her memories her husband, Richard Lee Tolbert, Sr.; four children, Sheron Hornage, Beverly Preston of Terrell, Texas, Richard Lee Tolbert, Jr. of Forney, Texas, and Allette Carr of Pflugerville, Texas; Three son-in-laws, Rev. Larry Hornage, Pastor Jonathan L. Preston, and Michael Carr; one daughter in-law, Ronda Tolbert; ten grandchildren, Tausha Ellis (Casper), Charressa Kennedy (Kenoy), Bethany Hartfield, Jessica Tolbert, Jeremy Preston (Robin), Zachary Preston, Ashle Tolbert, Alyssa Tolbert, Alexander Carr, and Kailah Carr; twelve great-grandchildren; five sisters, Eula Carey, Alberta Gipson (Lawrence), Virginia Clemons, Lavonne Henderson (Charles), Vera Shaw, and Vital Marie Boyce (Charles); two brothers, Pharissee Brooks, Jr., Sylvester Brooks and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Wayne Moore Sr. of Terrell, TX. Was born to the parentage of Maurice Moore and Willene Gibson on October 30,1950 in Rockwall, TX. He departed this life peacefully on Thursday, July 15,2021 surrounded by family and friends.
Wayne was a proud graduate of Rockwall High School. He accepted Christ at an early age. Wayne was employed at Fuji Color Processing Lab for many years. He obtained his barber license and worked as a barber at Morrow’s Barbershop where he was well known around the town for his contagious smile and good conversation.
He married the love of this life Lottie Mae Williams in 1980. Their love, lives and families were intertwined, and they were united for 38 years until the death of Lottie in 2018.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lottie Moore, his parents, Maurice Moore and Willene Gibson, one brother, Jamie Lee, and three sisters, Diane Jackson, Sheila Elaine, and Susie Wright.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Wayne Moore Jr. (Gwendolyn) of Denton, TX, Desmond Ross of Terrell, TX, and Sheky Greer (Starr) of Kansas City, MO, two daughters, Sonya Gentry (Eric) of Forney, TX, and Stephanie Crutchfield (Wayne) of Richardson, TX.; 15 grandchildren; Madison Moore, Jeremiah Moore, Jayda Fullbright, LaKayla Gentry, Jacobi Austin, Destiny Ross, Trinity Ross, Demyriah Ross, Desarae Ross, Desmond Ross Jr., Aysha Crutchfield, Johnathan Crutchfield, Gabriela Greer, Autumn Greer, and Victoria Greer; 1 great grandchild, Cayden Stokely; 1 sister, Karen Gibson of Royce City, TX. and host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Anita Bryant Thompson was born September 2, 1933 in Terrell, Texas to the late Arzie and Louise Gray Bryant. She attended the Burnett High School class of 1952. She united with the New Hope BC at an early age. In 1959 she moved to Dallas and united with the New Friendship BC under the leadership of Rev. G.T. Thomas. She remained at New Friendship until her death under the leadership of Rev. Johnny McGee, Sr. She was employed by Texas Meat Company, Patterson Brother Meat Company and Sky Chef of American Airlines until she retired in 1972. She was united in marriage in 1966 to Robert Thompson and to this union no children were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, one son, Ulysses Jefferson, Jr. and husband Robert Thompson.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter Oletha Morrow of Terrell, and a host of other relatives and Friends.
