April 3, 1942 ——– January 6, 2023
Mr. Jesse Ray Turner a lifelong resident of Terrell, Texas died on January 6, 2023, at his resident. Mr. Turner was a retired teacher and coach in the Terrell ISD School district and was loved my many co-workers, students, and classmates.
Mr. Turner leaves to cherish his memories, his sons, siblings, and a host of friends and family.
Services: Public Viewing: Friday, January 13, 2023 – 5 to 7 at the DuBose Funeral Home.

Good by to a age old friend and a classmate. I remember the times we played cows and indians. went hunting and fishing together in Naples. How we climed trees ran track all of the stuff boys did just having fun and living day to day. Farewell Jesse and God bless the Turner family.
I am sad to read this. Mr. Turner was my PE Teacher in the fourth grade, and one of my favorite people growing up. I remember his red and white Charger, which was an awesome car. RIP Mr. Turner. Thanks for being a good teacher and example.
