Mr. Lodis Ray Milton

Lodis Ray Milton was born November 24, 1948 to the parentage of the late
Otha and Viola Milton of Edgewood, Texas. Sunset on his time here with us was
September 18, 2022 at his home in Terrell, Texas surrounded by his family.
Lodis attended public school in Edgewood where he graduated high school. He
was a long time employee of VistaWall where he worked over 50 plus years as a
dye maker. He retired and returned to working at VistaWall because of his
hardworking nature and desire to be a provider of his family.
Lodis met and married the love of his life Diane Williams of Terrell, Texas on April
21, 1989 after a long courtship. To this union three daughters Felicia, Rosemary and
Jessie Nell.


Lodis is preceded in death by his parents Otha and Viola Milton, sister Elneita
Dillard and brothers Jerry and Joe Milton.


He is survived by his loving wife Diane Milton of Terrell, daughters Felicia (Edward)
Jackson of Terrell, Rosemary (Johnny) Lewis of Forney, Jessie Nell (Calvin) Paul of
Mesquite. He has two brothers Lee Milton of Edgewood and Larry (Jan) Milton of
Frisco; sisters Linda Randle (Joe) of Emory, Rosie Randle of Terrell and Vickie Jones
of Edgewood, special sister-in-law Willetta Williams, special brother-in-law Glen
(Francene) Williams, special niece Shandria “Ta” (Rob) Williams and special
nephew Kelton (Chari) Milton.


Grandchildren and great grandchildren Ebony (Rolando) Kennedy and Nevaeh,
Tierah, Te’nayah, Boogie; DeAndra (Porsche) Williams and Demry, Armonte;
Carldrequs Lewis and Jediah, Aureil; DeUndra “Missy” (Mike) Dukes and Dreylon, Dylan. Michael Sterrett and Isaiah; Darius Hubbardand Danarius; Tiarah White; 

Adopted grandsons Brad Kennedy, Roderick Gardner, Marc Green, Clayton Hass,
Aaron Huttel, Rokendrick Pipkins, Kailan Vinson, Marquis Washington, Kendrick
Turner, Chad Jobe (late), Donavan Pipkins, Travis Rhodes and Aydriel Mask.
A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Ms. Kurisma Dania Bonar

Ms. Kurisma D. Bonar, Born on January 23, 1986 in New York and died September 9, 2022 in Forney, Texas.  Kurisma was loved by her children, Mother & Father, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services for Kurisma will be Sat, October 1, 2022 in the Bahamas.

Veronica Michelle McAfee

November 20, 1966 – September 10, 2022

Veronica Michelle McAfee, affectionately known to her family and friends as “Mickey” , passed away on Saturday September 10, 2022 at the age of 54 years.  A native of Marshall, Texas , Veronica was born to Dr. John McAfee, Sr, and Reverend Ruby Lee Runnels.  She united with the Rice Chapel A.M.E church.  She was a 1985 graduate of Midland Lee High School and attended Prairie View University.  

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her mother Rev. Ruby L. Runnels (Solomon-Stepfather), Her Father Dr. John McAfee, Sr. (Karen-Stepmother), Her sister, Charlotte, Brother John McAfee, Jr.,  and a host of other relatives and friends.

Debra Denise Land

August 24, 1957 – August 24, 2022

Debra Denise Land was born August 24, 1957 to Charles Sr. and Dorothy Phillips in Terrell, Texas.  Debra departed this life on August 24, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family. 

Debra was the oldest of five siblings.  She was preceded in death by her son, Little Earl Smith and sister Phyllis R. Phillips. She received her education in Terrell ISD.

Debra’s spiritual journey started at Shiloh Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. M.H. Cathcart.  She sang in the choir and served as an usher until her health failed. She later cast her lot at Friendship Baptist Church under the Leadership of Rev. Keith Turner.  

Debra married Lynzell Land and to this union a daughter was born, Tiffany Deshon Land.  She worked at Terrell State Hospital for 30 years before retiring. Debra has always been respectful to others until you crossed her, and you would know it. Debra had a love for peppermint. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, NaNa, aunt, and friend. Debra’s most precious role was being Nana to her grandson Trevor.

Debra leaves to cherish her memories her parents, Charles Sr. and Dorothy Phillips; daughter, Tiffany Bursey (Kelvin Sr.); grandchildren, Kelvin Jr. and Trevor Bursey; great-grand daughter, Sophia; Earl Smith (Love of her life); siblings, Charles Jr., Fred Lee, and Constance Rence and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Mahogany Kamill Hill Oliver

Mahogany Kamill Hill-Oliver was one of four children born on March 28, 1979 to the parentage of Morgan and Georgia Hill. Mahogany attended and graduated from Terrell ISD in 1997. She further her education at Navarro Junior College in Corsicana, Texas. Mahogany was employed by Lakes Regional until her health declined.


Mahogany accepted Christ at an early age. She had a flare for fashion that well suited her outgoing personality. To know her was to “LOVE” her. On October 9, 2010 she married David Oliver “D.O.” She opened her home on numerous occasions to family and friends. She was ALWAYS ready to let you know exactly how she felt.


Mahogany was preceded in death by her loving parents, Morgan and Georgia Hill, and her brother Maurice Hill(Tamika).


She leaves to cherish her memories her HUBBY, David Oliver; brothers, Morgan Hill III (Monica), Masio Hill (Kiasa), Steven Lampkin, Mark Lampkin; great niece and nephew Morgan and Ashton Pierson; special “BABY” Ryson Martin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mr. Floyd Fleming

Floyd Lee Fleming was born on April 18, 1954 in Dallas, Tx and died on August 24, 2022 in Terrell, Tx.  Mr. Fleming was a resident in Terrell where he was surrounded by those who loved him. He leaves to cherish his memories with a host of family and friends.

Mr. Otis Lee Lacy Ramsey

Otis Lee Lacy Ramsey was the second of three sons born to Otis Lee Ramsey Jr., and Audrey Faye Lacy on  May 20, 1988, in Dallas, Texas. He was also known affectionately by his nickname, Pooh Bear.

Otis accepted Christ at an early age, becoming a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Forney,Texas. He continued to have a strong faith and believed in God through his lengthy illness.

Otis attended Forney ISD Schools, graduating from Forney High School in 2005. He worked on a variety of jobs, with his last position being a cook at Cowboys Chicken in Forney, Tx.

He is survived by a host of family and friends.

Mr. Gary Lewis Tucker

Gary Lewis Tucker was born in Terrell, Texas to Tommy Lewis Tucker and
Linda Bernice Tucker on February 8, 1970.

Gary graduated from Terrell High School in 1989, he furthered his
education at West Texas A & M University on a Track & Field scholarship.
Gary was known for his outgoing spirit, his love for God and his heart for
sports.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Linda B. Tucker,
Grandfather, Robert L. Summerfield, and his brothers, Bradley C.Tucker,
and Keith B. Tucker.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene Tucker who he married in
October of 2005. He is also survived by his father, Tommy Tucker (Kathy;
sister, Terry Tucker; four brothers, Byron Tucker, Brandon Tucker
(Equilla), Brian Tucker (Kidra), and Benard; two children, Catrina Burch
and Gary Tucker, Jr.; four step children, Andrew Watson, Ardis Watson,
Andrae Watson, and Haynetta Lester; eleven grandchildren, Aaniyah
Burch, Mariyah Burch, Destini Etier, A’Tyumn Humphrey, Parish Tucker,
Remorris Owens, Jr., Rezaria Owens, Gabriel Lester, Caleb Owens,
Genesis Owens, Jasmine Watson; a special aunt, Hattie Ware, and a host

Mr. Johnnie Joe Morris

Johnnie Joe Morris was born in Terrell, Texas on August 19, 1970 to the parents of Martha Louise Williams and Willie Joe Morris. Johnnie was educated through the Terrell Independent School District.

Johnnie was employed by Team Car Care, LLC / Jiffy Lube for 3 years until his death. Johnnie proved himself to be a hard worker, therefore he worked his way up to management at his location in Austin, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lateria.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, son, Willie Joe Morris; three sisters, Yolanda Watkins, Berteena Williams, and Canesha Smith; three brothers, Anthony Ray Henry, Lance Morris, and Rodney Morris; two special friends and co-workers in whom he called his brother from another mother, Robert Robledo, and Jay Kemerling, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
