Juan “Chunta” Romo-Arredondo

Juan “Chunta” Romo-Arredondo was born in Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico on May 28th , 1958. Chunta moved to Terrell Texas over 30 years ago where he met Patricia Romo whom he built a life with. He Lived a great part of his life in Terrell, Tx where he also made several lifelong friends. Chunta always welcomed anyone in his home, and always managed to make time for his loved ones even if it was just small talk for hours. He was patient, kind and always willing to lend a helping hand to those who needed. He was a loving husband, father figure, brother, uncle, neighbor, and friend. His memory will live on and he will never be forgotten. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother Julio and wife Patricia. He is survived by his sisters: Claudia, Ruby, Rosa, Martha, Christina and Juana, Brothers: Jose, Alberto, and Cresencio, Daughters: Diana, Bridget and his nieces and nephews.

Juan “Chunta” Romo-Arredondo nacio en Muzquiz, Coahuila, Mexico el 28 de Mayo del 1958. Chunta semudo a Terrell, Tx hace mas de 30 años donde conocio a Patricia Romo con quien formo una vida. Vivio gran parte de su vida en Terrell donde conocio amigos de toda la vida. Las puertas de su casa siempre estubieron abiertas para sus familiares y amigos sin importar las circunstancias. Fue un hombre muy paciente y docil, y siempre estaba dispuesto a dar la mano cuando se nesesitaba. Fue un gran esposo, figura paterna, hermano, tio, vecino, y amigo. Su memoria vivira para siempre y jamas sera olvidado. Le sobreviven sus hijas: Diana, Bridgett, sus hermanos: Jose, Alberto, and Cresencio, sus hermanas: Claudia, Ruby, Rosa, Martha, Christina, Juana y sus sobrinos y sobrinas. Fallecidos: Su madre y padre, Hermano Julio y esposa Patricia.

Mr. Jesse Ray Turner

April 3, 1942   ——–   January 6, 2023

Mr. Jesse Ray Turner a lifelong resident of Terrell, Texas died on January 6, 2023, at his resident.  Mr. Turner was a retired teacher and coach in the Terrell ISD School district and was loved my many co-workers, students, and classmates.

Mr. Turner leaves to cherish his memories, his sons, siblings, and a host of friends and family.

Ms. Lisa Jean Floyd was born in Denison, Texas on September 26, 1958, and died on January 5, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.  Ms. Floyd was surrounded by Her family and friends at the time of her death.  She leaves to cherish her memories children, and other family and friends.

Duncan Demaun Andre Pierson 

Duncan Demaun Andre Pierson (Affectionately Known as Mon) was born on January 1, 1985 to the Parentage of Duncanary Davis and Cynthia Pierson Davis.

Duncan attended school in Terrell, where  he graduated in 2003.  He accepted Christ at an early age at the New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church under the late Pastor Mitchell and continued his fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Clarence Roberson.  Duncan was a member of the youth choir, youth Ushers & Awanna.

As an adult he joined Mt. Hebron Victory Faith Baptist Church under the guidance of Pastor Samuel Hawkins.  Duncan was an internal optimist, friendly, always greeting you with a smile.  He was ever ready to lend a helping hand.

Duncan was preceded in death by his father Duncanary Davis and mother Cynthia Pierson Davis, Grand parents & Great grand parents.  He leaves to honor & cherish his memory Daughters, Makayla Pierson,  Amuyrian Pierson, Bonus Daughter Janiyah Champion.  Sister, Faronda Pierson Ambers (Tim), Shawnea Skinner, Brother Korwin (Courtney), Grandmother, Millie Dotie, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & Family.  And most important Special Friend Xenia Qualls.

Mr. Herbert Lee Fason

Herbert Lee Fason

September 25, 1939 – December 20, 2022

Deacon Herbert Lee Fason was born to the parentage of the late Henry Fason and Tassie Ree Punch in Elmo, TX on September 25, 1939.

He spent his early childhood in Elmo and attended Shady Grove School. He later came to Terrell and attended Terrell School and graduated from Burnett High School in 1959.

He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Elmo Church of Christ. He later was a member of United Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Elder Mays. He became a faithful member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, he was the chairman of the deacon board, under the leadership of Dr. Robert McElroy. He was chosen as man of the year in 2003. He also served as Superintendent of Sunday School and a member of the Male Choir. He was a worshipful Master of Corinthian Lodge #51 for a number of years.

On November 23, 1959 he was united in marriage to Mary Christeen Davis and to this union 2 daughters were born, Aleshia Rena Bryant (Larry) and Adrienne Rachelle Greer (Robert).

Deacon leaves the following family members to love and cherish his memories; his wife of 63 years, Mary Christeen Fason; two daughters, Aleshia Rena Bryant (Larry) and Adrienne Rachelle Greer (Robert)

Mr. Stanley Jackson

Mr. Stanley D. Jackson
June 26, 1962 —- December 14, 2022

Stanley Darrell Jackson was born on June 29,1962 in Rockwall, Texas to the parents Calvin Jackson and Shirley Ann (Alexander) Jackson. He attended Rockwall Independent School District and later worked various warehouse jobs until he was disabled.
Stanley was a sweet and humble young man with a great personality. He met no strangers and was loved by many. He loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. They in
turn loved him and took pleasure in aggravating him to get him started by his many comical outbursts. Ask them, they have many videos, especially when he’s watching the Dallas
Cowboys. He loves them boys.

Stanley was preceded in death by his mother: Shirley Ann Jackson, brother: Calvin Ray Jackson, brother-in-law: Jeremiah Webber, grandparents: Lonnie Lee Alexander &
Lottie D. Alexander and Jessie James Jackson & Clara Mae Jackson and several aunts and uncles.

He leaves to cherish his memories: father: Calvin Jackson (Bettie), sisters: Carolyn Webber, Sheila Jackson, and Carla Jackson, brothers: Stephen Jackson, Geary Jackson (Debbie), and

Mr. Clifton Roberson Jr.

10-25-1938 – 11-19-2022

Clifton Roberson Jr. was called home to be with the Lord on November 19, 2022 at the age of 84 in Terrell, Texas. He was born in Wills Point Texas on October 25, 1938 to the parents of Clifton Roberson Sr. and Estella Roberson Jacob. His family moved to Terrell Texas where he accepted Christ at an early age. He is survived by his son Clifton J. Roberson (Mary), three step sons; Lewis Williams Jr., Troy Anthony Williams and Jerry Lewis Tolbert, two grandchildren; Clifton Javon Roberson, and Cydnee Alexis Roberson, one great grandchild; Carmen Alexis Roberson, alone with a host of nephews, nieces, and many other family members, friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father Clifton Roberson Sr.; mother Estella Jacobs; step father John H. Jacobs; three sisters Odessa Roberson Jackson, Dorothy Roberson Tucker, and Fannie Roberson Pegram; two brothers Hubert Roberson, and J. R. Perry Roberson.

Mrs. Norma J. King

Mrs. Norma J. King was born July 4, 1942, to the parentage of Nathaniel Coleman and Ella D. Whittaker.

On December 24, 1957 she married her soulmate, Charles King and to this union 11 children were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings, sisters, Lafrances Maxie-McMillion, Catherine Maxie-Lee, Delores Maxie, Evelyn Maxie-Thomas; brothers, Ted Maxie, Kenneth Maxie, Advertis Maxie, John Maxie, and Curtis Maxie.


She leaves to cherish her memories, husband of 65 years, Charles King; brothers, Dale and Billy Maxie; children, Walter King (Sherri), Cathy King-Roacher, Lucius King, Torino King, Rachel King, Aleta King, Keith King, and Charles King, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.

Ms. Eva Richmond Henderson

Ms. Eva Henderson born on August 8, 1954 in Frog, Texas died early Wednesday morning in Rowlett, Texas. She was surrounded by her children and family.
Eva will be missed by her children, grandchildren, and many other family and friends.

Mr. Toran Simpson

Toran Simpson was born September 10, 1965 to the parents of Grady Sr. And Willie Mae Simpson. Toran accepted Christ at a early age, and was a member of Shiloh Baptist church in Terrell Texas.

Toran’s entire educational journey was in the Terrell Independent School District. He was a graduate of the the class of 84. He was very active in sports from early childhood through High School. Toran had a strong competitive drive to win in every sport he participated. At Terrell High he was amongst a select few of athletes who was offered a scholarship in all three sports, football, basketball, and track and field. He chose to attend Texas Tech University.

Even though Toran experienced many challenges he always found a way to enjoy life, and remain close to his family.

Toran was preceded in death by his father Grady Simpson Sr. He is survived by his Mother Willie Mae Simpson, Wife Angela Williams Simpson, his step daughter Ashlyn Fulbright, sibling Kimetra Lewis, Gretchen Simpson Hunter, Grady Simpson Jr., Greg Simpson, Craig Simpson, and Tavarus Simpson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins and other relatives.
