Jeanne attended the Post Oak Bend School on the grounds of Lone Star Baptist Church and graduated from Burnett High School in Terrell, TX. Her musical powers shown here, as she penned the lyrics for “Oh Burnett High” as her class song, which later became the school song. In addition to her work at the church, Jeanne’s employment included Franklin’s dress shop in Terrell, Texas; Texas Instruments in Richardson, Texas (retiring after 30 years); and finally retiring from the city of Terrell in the Mayor’s Office. Jeanne was also a long-time member of the 22 Marechal Niel Club in Terrell, TX.
