Lillie Marie Henderson Prince White was born February 6, 1920 in Terrell, TX to the late Mose Henderson and the late Nina Flowers Henderson. Lillie Marie had a wonderful time growing up with all her siblings who have preceded her in death Annie Ruth Henderson, Leon Henderson, Turner Henderson, Zelma Henderson, Cleophus Henderson, Jessie Mae Henderson and Mozell Henderson.
Lillie Marie White graduated from Burnett High School and married Fred Edward Prince in 1937. To this Union, their only child Velma Prince was born. After the death of her first husband, Lillie married Mr. Turner White and remained married until he passed.
Lillie Marie White loved and cared for others deeply. Her generosity, ways of making each person feel special and her delicious meals impacted her family, church members, the Terrell community and beyond.
A phenomenal cosmetologist, internationally known seamstress and lover of all things fashionable, Lillie Marie White left a mark on the beauty and fashion industry throughout the years. One of her many significant accomplishments was being a graduate of the Madam C.J. Walker’s School of Cosmetology.
As an entrepreneur, Lillie Marie White served in excellence as a mentor who provided unbiased knowledge to whomever sought her guidance.
Lillie Marie White was an honorable, virtuous, strong, responsible, accountable, intelligent and wise woman of God who was preceded in death by many whom she adored including her baby girl Dr. Velma Prince Smith. Left to cherish her memory are: Dr. Roscoe C. Smith (Velma); her granddaughters, Robbie S. Redmon (Christopher) and Minister Jacquelyn Smith (Pastor Cecil T. Smith,II) and a host of great, great-great and even great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, church members and more.

Take your rest in Heaven Aunt Lillie. Such a sweet lady. I remember when I married Ms.Annie Ruth’s son Charlie, and after she passed, Aunt Lillie took her place in my heart. Loved me some Aunt Lillie.
Sis. White I am indebted to you as one of my Sunday School teachers who taught me that “my life may be the only Bible people will read, so live accordingly.” Thanks to you and Mama/Cousin Nina Flowers Henderson for making sure I remembered we were connected through the “Flowers” lineage.

Mother White, such a beautiful woman inside and out. I was so happy every time I seen Mother White, when we made I contacted we gave the biggest smile to one another and had to make my way to her after church for that hug and kiss on the cheek. I’m going to miss her stylish dressing and fancy hats she wore, as well her soft voice when she spoke. Rest On In Perfect Peace Mother White 🌹 Love you, will definitely miss you
